Pessimism

Am I choosing to be ignorant by being an optimist?
Is it even really possible to maintain a cheery outlook when Truth is unveiled?
Is anything achievable from any viewpoint?
Is there anything worth achieving?

    I've found optimism can be a very effective way of dealing with a world that's completely beyond your control.
